Is it my birthday?

March 4, 2012 a day that surprise me the most.

Last year before my birthday, I’ve changed my Facebook birth date to March 4, a random date for me to hide my real birth date. I just want a quite birthday that time, and for me to know who really knows, when is my true birthday is. After 5 months, I just forgot to change it back.

March 4, 2012 I have no I idea that Facebook will show it to everyone. I was on a Youth Camp by then and enjoying the company of my friends. My successor for being a President of YFC- SBC stood up infront of us. Call our attention and honor someone. Just a ordinary scene inside a Youth Camp and nothing to worry and think about. I was just surprised then when he announce that it was my birthday. As everyone there sing a Happy birthday song and greet me for this ordinary day. I just can’t think how can I tell them the truth that it is not my birthday today! Until I put out my wallet and get one of my identification that has my birth date on it and show it to them.

And this is not the end of it. Early morning I just received messages of greetings to my friends. After that I went to the Youth Camp Training of YFC- UERM because I’ve been invited to be one of there speaker in there training. After my talk, they go outside and plan for there mock Youth Camp. Again nothing to suspect, I just sit inside there place and wait for what will happen. Surprisingly they entered the chapel where I was and surprise me with this.

Cupcake it is. For being really surprised on what is happening, I was just smiling at them and can’t stop them on what there doing. After this I confessed to them that it is not my birthday today. It was an epic surprise for me. All in all we just enjoy the company and eat the cupcakes. And I even requested them to make me a Birthday notes. :)

 

I just love YFC- UERM, I’ve enjoyed the day even though I am sleepy and tired. I taught it was the end of it when I went home. At this time someone called me and greet me again. After this my mother told me “birthday mo daw, daming bumabati sayo sa Facebook”. And surprisingly 189 wall post in my Facebook wall. In the end I apologize them for this prank birthday. :)

My real birth date is “September 22”.

I just LOVE YOU GUYS WHO TEXTED ME, CALLED ME, GREETED ME IN FACEBOOK AND EVEN IN TWITTER AND THOSE PEOPLE THAT GIVE SOME EFFORT OF SURPRISING ME. I’ve appreciated every effort for this one. Sorry and Thanks for this memorable day. :))))

“2/14/12” Hearts day!

12:05am nang magpost ako nag “Maligayang araw nag mga Puso” sa twitter and facebook ko.

Then down to my bed by 12:45am

By 8:10am I woke up with a big smile. parang baliw lang! greet everyone “happy hearts day”. Tapos by 10:40am, my nakatext ako at hangang 1:35pm siya lang ang katext ko, at dahil dun lalo lang akong napangiti sa araw na to! as in! hahaha.

By 2:00pm pumunta akong antipolo for an interview! Enjoy, dahil yung nag interview sakin e YFC din. So magaan yung pakiramdam ko na mag salita. Then after my interview by 3:00pm bumaba na ako sa antipolo and go straight sa pasay for our band practice.

Habang nasa byahe ako nakikita ko na ung mga couples at mga nag dadate for this day at nakakatuwa silang tignan. Yung iba masaya, nag tatawanan, nag lalambingan. Yung iba nag aaway, nagkakatampuhan, nagwawalk outan. hahahaha! Yung iba my hawak na bouquet at stuff toys, basta iba iba.

< Fastforward > From antipolo - cubao - taft - MOA - airport road and then sa studio na. Dumating akong band studio by 5:45pm, then start our practice with Umagang kay ganda. By 7:15pm lumabas ako para mag softdrinks, 500php na buo yung pera ko nun nag my lumapit na batang babaeng nanlilimos :) nung una hindi ko siya pinansin nang bigla nyang sinabing “pengeng piso kuya.” At ewan ko bigla kong nasabi na “piso?” ( pabigla ) at bigla ko siyang tinanong. “Gusto mo ba nag icecream?” sabay ngiti sa bata. Sempre hindi ako tinanggihan ung bata kaya pinakuha ko sa kanya kung anong gusto niya. At ang kinuha niya e yung 1 gallon na icecream, sabi ko sa sarili ko nun “ay pasubo ako ahh” tinanung ko siya kung kaya niyang ubusin un, at ang sabi lang niya e, “hindi kuya pero pag pinaghatihatian namin to nag mga kapatid ko sigurado ubos to”. ( 5 silang mag kakapatid ) Ngiti na lang ang napakita ko after nun. Wala naman akong kadate at pag kakagastusan sa araw na yun kaya masaya nadin akong may napasaya ako kahit papano sa araw nang mga puso. Pagibig lang din naman ang namumutawi sa mga tao sa araw na to! At kahit sa maliit na bagay na nagawa ko, sana ay naipamahagi ko yung pag mamahal nag Diyos na natatangap ko sa batang babaeng yun. Pagkatapos nun ay umakyat na ako sa studio.

After our band practice na natapos nag 9:15pm, dumeretyo ako sa P.campa to meet Bruce for our surprise plan for the sisters :) Our plan was to give a rose then chocolate, sabay harana at bigay nag konting tula (o kung ano ano lang na natripang sabihin hehehe ). Our route was from p.campa - g. tolentino - bustillios - pandacan - pureza - sta. mesa - p. noval - lacson - maceda and lastly to give our self a treat. Kumain kami sa “Bulaluhan sa espana.” 1:30am na nag Feb. 15, 2012 nung nag hiwalay kami ni Bruce nang landas. Then by 2:30am, ay nakauwi na ako! Pagod pero masaya! at sa buong araw? Ngiti lang ang nangibabaw sa face ko :)) sakit sa panga! hahaha

How’s my February 14, 2012! hmmm.. I am single and I can say that this day is one of my best Valentines day! :)

God is a God of second chances. That even if we sinned were forgiven.

Introduction:

This 2012 is a new year for us to have a new opportunity to serve God through our service. Even you’ve failed to your service or done nothing last 2011. It is not yet over for you to get back up to the passion you’ve showed when you said Yes to God’s calling.

It is said that, “Success is not how you start, its how you finish”. And right now this is our chance to renew our mission again. Mission that is being and bringing Christ where ever we are.

I. Recognize our Calling

- Our calling is not to stand again but to withstand every problems and hurts that we receive last 2011.

-Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked, leadership is defined by result not attributes.

- Many are called to this service, but only few people say Yes to there calling. And You are part of that few.

II. Renew our Faith

- I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me –Phillipians 4:13

- To talk to Him is better than to talk about Him.

- Once you learn to quit it become a habit.

III. Revive our Passion

- Your passion towards your service.

- Use your passion to do your mission.

- Passion is having something to live for. (Bro. Bo Sanchez)

- Surrender your self again and trust our savior

Conclusion:

God is a God of second chances, even we’ve sin we’re forgiven. Let’s just go back to what we have started. Let us recognize our calling to withstand 2012. Let us renew our faith, trust the One that strengthens us. And let us revive our passion for us to do our mission of loving the Lord. Then that’s the time to renew our heart and respond to His new calling. Let us finish this term strong.

God, if I can’t have what I want, let me want what I have.
